Andrew C. Garrod, Professor of Education at Dartmouth College and Director of Dartmouth’s Teacher Education Program, for outstanding moral educational practice in Bosnia, the Marshall Islands, and the United States, including producing and directing multi-ethnic and multi-lingual summer productions of Shakespeare in Serbia and in the Marshall Islands, bringing Bosnian high school students to the United States, establishing the SEAD (Summer Enrichment at Dartmouth) program for under-resourced high school students, and co-founding the Youth Bridge Global (an NGO) to continue his work in the Marshall Islands.
